• Moving home!

Tomorrow we are moving to a new home. Her outside has had a hand problem and has said she doesn't think it fair on us minnows to leave our fate in the hands of the older her outside. So we will be moving home tomorrow, all 6 of us minnows the shrimp and 4 catfish. We will keep you updated on how we are.

  • New Developments

    The shrimp have a hidy-hole.
Her outside spent ages removing our plants, cleaning them and then put this whopping great piece of wood into our home and put all the plants back. Not too sure what the whole idea of that really was, but the shrimp keep hiding under the wood, so it must be for them as it has a cave/tunnel thingy going under it. The older her outside is feeding us more often and she is stingy. how are 6 growing minnows and 4 growing shrimp supposed to get by on 1 and a bit flake each? It really isn't on. Her outside needs to realise, we minnows need more food than that. The shrimp don't.

  • Waterfall!!!!

If the last pet can have a blog, so can we fish (and the 4 shrimp). The last week has been strange. Her outside, who feeds us, cleans our home out and adds more water, put 4 shrimp into our home last week. They are called; Shrimp 1, 2, 3, and 4. None of us minnows know why they are there. These shrimp are out eating us. Any of our food that reaches the floor, they grab hold of and won't give us. They don't even move that much, they should realise we minnows need all the energy we can get. And then, today:
    We got a waterfall!
Her outside spent ages today removing water from our home, cutting up plastic stuff and our filter, and cursing. Then, suddenly, we had water falling from above into our home!
Nova and Brosinski got high on all the extra oxygen we were getting. Ulla thinks she remembers someone way back when we were little saying that, back where we come from, there is loads of oxygen, really fast flowing water and lots of waterfalls. Anyway, Her outside has deemed that we must have a waterfall and loads of oxygen, but no filter. None of us can see a filter. One of the shrimp reckons that the tube in our home is the filter, but there's no way that can be right.
